A Joint Initiative for Digital Empowerment

TechSaksham was a joint CSR initiative by SAP and Microsoft, successfully implemented by the Edunet Foundation, which concluded after making significant strides in digital skill development. This pan-India program specifically focused on empowering underserved youth, with particular emphasis on young women students, by equipping them with future-ready skills for technology careers. The initiative represented an important chapter in our efforts to bridge the gap between academia and industry through experiential learning.

Our Approach and Learning Methodology

During its implementation, TechSaksham employed a practical, two-tiered delivery model to ensure job readiness for participants. The program began with a core foundation where students acquired essential digital skills, followed by activity-led modular arrangements that facilitated practical application of these skills under expert mentorship. The curriculum covered critical Industry 4.0 technologies including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data analytics, delivered through project-based learning approaches. Students engaged in technology bootcamps, hackathons, and expert talks.
