Vision and Purpose

Educate to Employ (E2E) is a demand‑led, digital‑first “learn‑to‑earn” pathway initiated by SAP and implemented in India by Edunet Foundation. The program equips youth with essential skills, knowledge, attitudes, and values for the digital economy and aims to place successful learners into entry‑level roles across the SAP ecosystem.

The program is designed to support underrepresented, underserved, underprivileged, and underemployed youth. Its core goal is to reduce inequalities and enable decent work through quality education and well‑being. By completing the program, learners gain access to internships, contracts, and full‑time roles within the SAP ecosystem.

The program specifically targets final and pre-final year students from Tier-2 and Tier-3 engineering colleges across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, and Karnataka, ensuring that young talents are equipped with the skills and certifications needed to thrive in the digital economy.

Journey and Structure

The learner journey begins with an online application and a one‑hour aptitude test. Successful applicants enter Learning Block 1, where they are introduced to foundational skills. Throughout the program, learners receive mentorship, workplace readiness training, and masterclasses. SAP Global Certification exams are embedded within the learning pathway, and certified learners are matched with employers for internships or employment opportunities.

Learning Block 1 – Foundations

Learners build essential tech skills, productivity, social‑emotional competencies, and values. This block serves as the foundation and determines progression to advanced training.

Learning Block 2 – Specialization and First Certification

Learners choose between two career‑aligned tracks:

  • Software Development (~220 hours): SAP ABAP and BTP fundamentals, Generative AI, Agile, Git/GitHub (optional), culminating in the SAP Certified Associate – Back‑End Developer (ABAP Cloud) exam.
  • Analytics (~270 hours): Excel‑based analysis, Google Data Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud modules, culminating in the SAP Certified Associate – Data Analyst (SAP Analytics Cloud) exam.
Learning Block 3 – Advanced Application and Second Certification

Learners deepen their expertise through project‑based ABAP, advanced SAP BTP extensibility, and optional skills such as UX/Fiori, Microsoft 365, and professional workplace skills. This block culminates in certifications such as SAP Certified Associate – Backend Developer (SAP CAP) or SAP Certified Associate – Data Engineer (SAPHANA). Analytics learners specialize in Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, HR (including SAP SuccessFactors), and Data Engineering, with role‑aligned certifications.

Impact and Expansion

The program has a strong global footprint. It has operated in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, and Germany, and was launched in Japan and India in 2024. In 2025, it is expanding to Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand, Canada, the UK & Ireland, Australia, and the US.

In India, the Educate to Employ program has shown significant success and growth. In the 2024-25 cohort in Gujarat, 230 learners qualified for the SAP Global Certificate Examination, with 14 achieving double certification. In 2025-26, the program has expanded to 29 institutions across four states, with over 1,000 learners on board.
