The Bajaj Manufacturing Systems (BMS) Program
The Bajaj Manufacturing Systems (BMS) Program is an industry-supported skilling initiative implemented by the Edunet Foundation in partnership with Bajaj Auto Ltd. Designed to prepare technical students for real-world manufacturing environments, the program builds strong foundations in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), quality systems, safety practices, and workplace excellence. Supported by Bajaj Auto Ltd. as part of its CSR commitment to strengthening India’s technical education ecosystem, BMS aims to bridge the critical gap between classroom learning and industry expectations by offering practical, application-based training through a structured digital platform accessible to students across multiple regions.
Foundational and Advanced Certifications
The BMS program offers two certification levels that progressively build manufacturing expertise. Upon registration and orientation, learners begin self-paced online learning with content available in seven Indian languages. The BMS Certification Program (BMS-CP) serves as the foundation, covering core technical units like 5S, Poka-Yoke, basic safety, 7 QC Tools, and OHNO & CLIRT concepts, alongside essential soft skills in communication and digital literacy.
For advanced expertise, the BMS Advanced Certification Program (BMS-ACP) builds upon this foundation with modules on the 7 types of waste, quality at source, motion economy, abnormality identification, and the ECRS framework. Advanced soft skills training in career development, diversity, ethics, and financial literacy prepare learners for greater responsibilities. Successful completion of either pathway leads to industry-recognized certifications jointly issued by Bajaj Auto Ltd. and Edunet Foundation, with guidance toward internships and job opportunities in manufacturing.

Vision of the Program
In the first phase, around 15,000 students are expected to complete the certification and receive digitally verifiable certificates. As the program expands, it will scale across multiple states, strengthening partnerships with institutions and government bodies. By the end of the project period, nearly 43,000 students will be certified, creating a strong pool of skilled and employable youth for India’s manufacturing ecosystem.
